The only time that the OB would say that it isn't safe for you to travel by plane would be during the last month of pregnancy due to a higher risk of going into labor. Other than that, it is safe to fly at any time during our pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my first, I flew at 3 1/2 from England to New York, a 9 hour flight. Most airlines will also have this information if you need it. They are very accomodating.
I hope you enjoy your trip, and don't worry. You should be just fine other than possibly a little more morning sickness due to the pressure changes.

Don't worry! I was 16 weeks when I flew to Philippines. It was a 14 hour straight flight. I stayed there for 3 weeks and flew back to California at 19 weeks. If your midwife says it's okay for you to fly then you shouldn't worry at all. I'm 22 weeks now and I got my u/s at 20 weeks and she's fine and healthy! You'll be just fine and your baby as well. Just remember to walk every hour. Have a safe flight!!

Well, I would sugest your doctor could be better suited to this question, but I would think that not much could possibly happen unless the plane falls out of the sky, at such time you will become a big wet splat and it won't really matter much then. But the good news, you'll beat the paramedics to the scene of the crash by at least half an hour.

you can fly as long as its not past 31 or 36 weeks. i flew when i was 6 1/2 months pregnant to europe and i didnt have any problems. you should be fine, just make sure you get a seat easy to get in and out of/close to the bathroom/and that you are comfortable

My wife is 19 weeks along and is flying out tonight for a biz trip.
Except for the comfort factor of being ina cramped plane and a uncomfortabel chair, you'll be fine!

I have flown while I was pregnant. There are no risks that I could think of. I also spoke to my doctor before I flew.
