I was in the same shape.
I got my period at 13, and I bet you will get yours soon.
You might want to start bringing pads with you and wearing panty liners. just to be ready.
You can take tylenol for the cramps. It's ok. You'll do fine. Just wait for it. It'll come at the right time!

Honey, never worry unless your doctor tells you too.
I was a 'late-bloomer' too- Had all the same stuff you do, and never got my actual period until I was 2 months shy of my 15th birthday. My mom had even brought me in to make sure everything was fine- It was...
So do not worry-
Now about the cramping, yes, you can use advil- (this is best as you are a teen and cannot take aspirin)- Tylenol is only a pain killer and does nothing to reduce swelling or to inhibit the prostaglandins in your system.
Drink LOTS of water- and severely limit your caffeine intake- This will help in many areas, and not only the female part!
God Bless you Sweetie-
(And you really don't need help- you just want to be older is all)! That's OK too- (until you GET older)!
Your periods will also be like that... You will want them so badly- then you will wish you didn't have them...
The grass is always greener!
And be lucky too- Recent research has shown that the older you are when you reach menarche, the LESS your risk of breast cancer will be when you are older!!!
Take care,
Anne

You will get it soon. I get sore breasts for 2 weeks before I start. That is how I know when my period will begin. Cramps can be relieved by heat and exercise. Cramps are normal. You could talk to your doctor if they are severe. I think you could take a low dose of Tylenol to relieve the cramps. I usually only have cramps the first day. Be prepared where ever you go as it sounds like it will start soon. Everyone is different. Enjoy your womanhood. :)

I'm guessing it will probably come very soon, based on what you said. Make sure you have a pad with you where ever you go "just in case."

As for the cramps: Use a heating pad where it hurts, take a pain medicine (ask your mom what she uses, because there are several options), take a long walk around the block, and drink more water than usual. And a little dark chocolate never hurts, either.

Congratulations on your journey to womanhood!

Well it won't be to much longer. But when it does come you will wish you had never seen it. All girls have a discharge around your age that is normal, you need to use panty liners. And for the cramps try midol it works very well and you need to stay active and exercise allot and when it comes it won't be that bad. We all go through it and we are all living LOL. But really it's natural and just let nature take it course.

You're probably a late bloomer. I didn't get mine until I was about your age. Also, I have problems with my thyroid which caused problems with my period. You may want to get that checked out. For the cramps, perhaps taking some Tylenol. Ask your folks before doing so.

There is no way of knowing exactly when you will get your first period.

Check with your pharmacist for a medication for menstrual cramps. There are a few on the market.

It sounds like you are getting close. For the cramps I recommend vitamin 100mg of B6. You can repeat it as needed, it is not toxic. But it may keep you awake if you take it before bedtime. Of course you can always use pamprin.
