need info, tips, advice, training, or if there is anyway to teach myself please let me know, I don't have the money for class and I need to know martial arts so that it can help me not just defend myself but have more courage within myself. So please let me know as soon as possible.

web sites are ok--but nothing like the real thing--try a recreation center that has classes for the general public--some spas or gyms offer a wide variety of classes--whatever you choose please go out and actually take the class physically--theres also a philosophy behind most martial arts classes that is very empowering-----
