i know would be great. i am single mum so never go out so i would actually be able to go watch something i wanted to see instead of just kids films and my son wouldnt really know what was going on so would probably just sleep in the car!

I loved going to drive in's in the US. However land in Europe is a lot more expensive. Never make a profit unless a temporary drive'in is set up some night in a car park that is available in the evenings.

A good enough idea if we could guarantee that the rain would stay off. Would also have to be somewhere out of town to cut down on light pollution so that it would be dark enough to show the movies.

We used to have drive-ins in South Africa. Then tv was introduced and that was the end of the drive-in.
Also, there's nothing worse than trying to watch a movie while your car wipers go "swish-swish" all night long as you try to see through the rain.

great idea i would go...but they are disappearing in america due to daylight...apparently the nights are getting lighter and they are finding it harder to show movies, but they have changed some to walk in theatres too, which i think is also a good idea
