Umh, no, i diddnt say he was the best captain just because they won the stanley. Oh i didnt just jump on the band wagon. I ve been on this wagon since i was 9! Saku is a good captain, but i didnt ask for 3 best captains. HE would be in my top 5!

Rod Brind Amour

PS - Hockey Freak is correct, she has been a Carolina Hurricane fan since she was little. She is no band wagon jumper where the Canes are concerned. Now me, I did jump on the band wagon this year!!

I would have to say Mats Sundin. He still hasn't won the Cup and he's 35 but he doesn't plan on signing with a serious contender just to get his name on the Cup. He's sticking with the Leafs. Now that's what I call a great captain. Mark Messier and Steve Yzerman are great captains too. They played with their hearts and were great leaders on and off the ice.

tough call....as of today I'd probably go with Sakic, althoug Brindy is a good choice too. My heart is with Sundin though, he takes a lot of crap from fans, but in my eyes he's a true captain and worthy of the title.

Recent-Steve Yzerman. He was a great captain. Don't know who I would say now that Stevie Y has retired. Maybe Joe Sakic.
