It was clear that Iran funded terrorists in Iraq as well as Lebanon. With the Iranian pres. getting the pat on the back from the Venezuelan pres., does Venezuela want to form terrorist recruits much like the arab world is doing by hating on the U.S.?

Chavez is simply trying to increase support for South American businesses, including his own. and it is NOT clear that Iran funded terrorists in Iraq unless we believe everything our government tells us. And you must admit that many don't since they've lied so much.
The US didn't need Chavez to "sow seeds" of terror.
Seeds of terror are already planted and growing everyday.
For that matter, we have terror recruits right here in this country.
and Chavez had nothing to do with them
we're just rapidly becoming one messed up nation
That's all there is to it.
God bless us.

I seem to remember over the past few year quite a lot of so called 'terrorism' in South America usually against military dictators covertly supported by the CIA. Maybe Hugo Chavez just feels it's payback time.

Chavez, like most people in the Third World, does not hate the United States; he/they hate U.S. imperialism in general and the Bush regime in particular. This is an important distinction that seems to have gotten lost in the press. Just as I can hate Nazis without being anti-German, so too can Chavez, et al., hate Bush without being anti-American. In both cases (Hitler & Bush), militaristic leaders — rather than their respective countries — are responsible for earning the enmity of people as a result of foreign invasions and war crimes (e.g., torture and murder of civilians), and are thus themselves to blame for sowing the seeds of hatred among those who are the victims of such crimes.

Agree with both Einstein and Rob Roy. "Ye shall reap as ye has sown."
