I have a new leather sofa that I need to clean. We have been doing a lot of woodwork in our home and the sofa is quite dusty.

Go to your auto parts store and buy premoistened leather seat wipes for autos. They work good and moisten the leather without getting on clothes.

You need to use a good quality foam leather cleaner (you will not find one of these on your supermarket shelf). It needs to be a water based cleaner as this helps re hydrate the leather as it is cleaning.
Once you have used this use a good quality leather protector again water based and this will keep your leather looking and feeling good.
Do not use baby wipes or any cleaner or 'conditioner' containing oils waxes or silicones as these will damage your leather.

U can buy these wet wipes for leather pillows and couches they work good. Good-Luck!

go wal-mart are lowe's and i'm sure they have something for you to use to clean your sofa
