I live in small town on Vancouver Island. I honestly don't know if there are homeless people here, but I see it when I go to Vancouver. It really bothers me.
What can be done.

i live in wichita ks we have homeless but it's not terrible there is only a handfull it does suck regardless of where you live

I saw that when I was in Toronto. I am in northeastern PA and when the authorities find someone homeless they try to find them a place to live and food ect. We don't let people live like that here.

indiana here.. and around here its not bad.. I never see them. .but i know there are ppl living in a shelter in town..
I am not sure we can do much... most of them can help themselfs if they really wanted to.
Noticed i said MOST.
