go get an oil squirt can turn the chair upside down the begin to squirt oil on every moving part. do not use excess oil or4 it will drip on the flooe when you turn the chair upright. If you do not want to use the oil buy a can of silicone lubercant and spray the bottom side of the chair i guarntee you this will stop it from squeaking unless of course you are overlaoding it.

Do not use WD40. I know, I know. It cures everything from squeeks to cancer. It is also a solvent. It will clean any grease from your chair and let it drip on your carpet. Use a silicone lubricant.
