I am trying to get ahead of the game - anyone have any ideas?

for boys between 10 and 15 the best xmas gift is a ps3 or wii which is coming out. I would definitely recommend wii for anyone 8 to 12 much more fun than ps3. or u could buy the new elmo doll which looks pretty nice for small kids. or maybe the sony ericsson cellphone which looks pretty cool or if u are willing to spend a little money for ur kids u could buy a can am atv(aka bombardier atv) the one for kids ive seen this one and it is pretty cool i think they cost above 1000 dollars

There is now a new and updated Tickle Me Elmo that is already tipped to be the hottest toy this winter. And this was announced back in early September, almost four months before Christmas!!!

You didn't mention ages, genders or your spending limit, so I don't think you'll get many useful replies.

it depends for what age and what sex! My 9year old and her friends are all asking for the pixel chix this year, last year I brought both my daughters a nintendo ds with nintendogs game and I know these are really popular again this year with the animal crossing game and princess peach as favourites.

I think it might be the ninetendo wii its coming out before xmas and the playstation 3 was coming out but its out back til march next year
