I got called a *f---king wh0re* straghit to my face and all my best friends heard it and didn't give a freak and it really hurt my feelings to get called that straghit to my face, NONE OF MY FRIENDS CARED! Then one of my friends got dumped by her boyfriend of ONE DAY. And all my best friends rushed to make sure she was ok.. i MEAN BEST FRIEND ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER! WHICH MEANS ME TOO!

I see..forget about that dude. Don't worry my friends are like that but i don't really care if i was a called a whore even by a guy. Just let it go. i understand how you feel. Since its already over you should get over it too. Well as for you whore doesn't seen to be nothing..well yeah your right about friends being there for each other but you should of looked at him and tell him to grow up and get a life and walk away. he was just being childish and gay. i bet your friends were thinking the same so i guess thats why they didn't say anything. About your friends..I don't think its a big deal when you were called a whore but your friend was hurt in a relation with someone of course your friends are going to care for her. Wouldn't you? Be strong ok! you go girl!! Just don't let words get to you! =D

If you think that you are a good girl then try to remain like that.If you think that there is something lacking then try to become good.If your friends are caring type they will care otherwise not.But you are your own best friend.If you can't love yourself then you can not love others.Try to remember the first part of your friend calling you bad-words in front of your best friends.Try to correct that and let such situation never happen in future.Reflect on the happenings you will get solutions.

You must be in middle school or high school. And you must be a girl.
I'm sorry to say but this is what girls are like at this age. Incapable of being friends with anyone as they are always only looking out for themselves.
I wish it was different, but at least you know now not to rely on them. Someday maybe these girls you know will grow up and learn how to be a sisterhood, not losers.

No one of your "best friends" defended you. Heck, they're not even your friends. It is you alone who thinks they are your friends but not them of you.
Harsh as it may seem, but you're alone in the middle of a crowd, that's all.
Go find other friends, there are always plenty around to be had. Look for people whom you could respect and who will respect you in return. It has to start from there--respect. Trust is earned when respect endures. When that happens, then you do have met a best friend.

People dont like to be in the middle of conflict. They dont like to be beaten up or hurt. AND turning to you after the fact would make them embarrassed that they didnt come to your defence...so they ignore it as they hope you have done. You can like/love a person but in the frame of being hit upon....go quiet. Why? Survival mechanism for one.
If you'd gotten dumped and there was no threat to them by hugging you and making sure you were ok...then thats way easy. Bestfriends are there for companionship and help only when they dont have to put their own body in harms way. If you wanted them to, you need to ask yourself why you would want THEM to be endangered?
Dont expect people to do battles for you....when you dont even go into battle for yourself.

yeah we should have a best friend to help us in our need but the girls of today are not sincere.they are so selfish.so don;t make anyone ur best frnd until u think that that person is trustworthy.same thing happened wit me .
ma best frnd forgot me and made some new frnds.i still remember her but guess she does not remem... me ne more.so don't get attached so close to any person that might hurt u.

yea sweetie u dont get hurt by this there are people around who only tries to hurt others.wat u said is absolutely correct ur friends must be there for you but may be ur friends dont considers you as their best one.its ok sweetie in real life we come face to face with these kind of people.you should try to be strong enough to face those.

i hope you dont get offended by this. but...if you got called a nasty name and none of your "best friends" stuck up for you, is it because a) you've got some parts of your personality that resemble that word and needs work? or b) you've got immature friends who need to grow up and be true friends? i think you need to learn to love yourself. don't worry about what others say about you if they don't matter to you why do their words matter to you? if what they say is a lie let it go. seriously i think you need to find people out there who genuinely love you and surround yourself with that so this other stuff won't even matter to you.

I lost a best friend by doing just that and since you the victim talk to her and if she doesn't talk then maybe it is time you consider finding a new best friend.
