o2 with full signal why do they not come through straight away

It depends on the amount of traffic on the network. For example on New Years Eve when people send many texts at midnight, it can be hours before they reach the recipient.

Concerts/festivals are also a nightmare, becasue of the unusually high amount of people gathered in one space that isn't used to it.

If you are finding O2 slow, then its perhaps because your area needs another transmitter to boost capacity, or maybe because O2 are rubbish!

Back up on the server for messages. Like voicemails taking a long time to go through.

depends on how busy the network is... if you are vodaphone user, and there is a major incident.. it can take hours as the emergency services take over the network......

it depends on how busy the line is that why sometimes when line is busy it takes more time and vice verse.
