I have a small 2.5 minibow, and at my LPS, not petco, way better, they said I should be able to keep this many fish in a 2.5. What do you guys think? Plus, are they all compatible? And will african dwarf frog tolerate a bit of salt in the water!?

that is a little much, but since they are very small fish most likely it will work for a while, thought small tanks are noted for problems with water quality. the dwarf frog may eat the guppies though. might want to reconsider that. the salt won't hurt anyone. since its such a small tank only feed very little 3 times a week.

no! the rule is 1 fish per 1 gallon. i had four fish in a 2 minibow, and they all died within 2 days even with a filter and oxygen bubbler. i did not know the rule at this time.

The normal rule of thumb to follow is 1 inch of fish per gallon of watter. It would be a tighter squeeze, a 5 gallon would be better but they would be ok.
