Will a cold air intake designed for a V8 fit in a truck that has a V6?

I have a 1998 GMC Sierra with a 4.3L V6, but it's impossible to find a Cold air intake that's designed to fit this engine. Can a cold air intake designed for a 5.7L, 5.3L, or a 6.0L V8 work?

dont think so there i dont think it will even bolt up to it. nothings impossible call the junk yards

Lookin at jcwhitney.com... theyll have one for a v6
