This is on a 1998 Buick Regal. On this model the turn signal bulbs are always on (solid no-blinking) when the vehicle is running.
Problem with front turn signals. Passenger side burns out at the base of the bulb within one day. Driver side blinks slowly, or doesn't blink at all (intermittant). Driver side dash indicator is dim, or sometimes doesn't light at all. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You have to have all operatable bulbs and you might want to replace the flasher. Sounds like a blown bulb. They won't flash if you have a blown bulb either front or rear. Needs a complete circuit and cannot obtain it with blown bulbs!

You have a bad gound at light houseing wireing harness.
The bulbs are using the other filament as ground.

Locate and check all four harnesses for good ground.

sounds like a short, or a bad socket, take out the bulbs and check all the sockets, if they are corroded or warn, this could cause a short in the whole system.

I've built engines from the ground up , but electrical problems require a pro. There are just too many variables.
