I edison like that. He was a live wire who just couldn't seem to find his on/off switch. If the child is not shockingly naughty it's best to get him plugged into a quiet activity. You don't want to amp up the situation and spark an increase of misbehavior. The buzzword, however, is that if his misdeeds are truly high voltage you must socket to him! Ground him long enough for some of that energy to be recircuited in a positive arc.
I was ready to turn the lights off on yahoo answers until I found your funny questions. I did a 360, found you, and now I've been rekindled.

yes, I heard about that--and the parents were "charged" with cruelty to a minor
(even though he is the light of their life)
I would be shocked indeed if the grounding did not produce a positive effect on the negative behaviour.

I am sure the misbehavior was do to a short circuit and maybe dad could fix the problem with a little rewiring at the woodshed.
Grounding him may cause him to blow a fuse.=))))
