Hi all- I wore Mary Kay foundation and the (Timewise, I think) dual-coverage pressed powder for a while and then just ran out and never bothered to get more. It works best for my skin type after trying dozens of different makeups. My question is, how do I know which color powder I have? I wear the Beige 305 foundation. The pressed powder I have has the following stamped underneath it:400/8928/CB05. Does that mean I should buy the Beige 400 pressed powder?

Thanks!

I would assume there are tons of MK representatives on here.... which is why I'm asking here instead of making phone calls and being sold more makeup...jeez....

I always wonder why people answer questions to which they do not know the answers...

I am a Mary Kay Consultant. The Timewise Dual-Coverage powder foundation you have is Beige400 as you indicated by the number stamped on the bottom. The 400 is the product color code, the 8928 is a item code number and the CB05 is called a day code for identifcation (if a product is returned, for example).
As for the Beige 305 that is a MaryKay liquid foundation in either Medium-coverage or Full-coverage style. Each product has a different number stamped on it or on the box/package it came in.
If you want more powder get the Beige400.

You would use the Beige 304 powder. 305 and 304 both have pink undertones. 300 has yellow undertones and although it would probably look okay it is not the best choice. Call your Mary Kay Beauty Consultant she will be able to give you the best advise. If you do not have one then contact Mary Kay and they will set you up with someone.

If you do not want to buy anymore than the dual coverage then tell the consultant that. Too many times customers are wishy washy because they don't just say it. The consultants cannot read your mind.

The Biege 400 pressed powder is considered the complimentary match for the foundation you are using.

foundation shade dual coverage match
Beige 300 Beige 300
Beige 302 Beige 300
Beige 304 Beige 304
Beige 305 Beige 304

ok if you wear 305 and on the bottom it says 400/8928/CB05 then you should still use 305 because that's ur skin type, but if you like tan ur face and it's got darker than try 400

i would go for a beige 300 or beige 304, you could try the beige 400 but it may seem a little dark
