Yes and Yea and IE, The Chem lawn folks are fond of pesticides that are Organophosphates, that causes synaptic nerve damage, a Pesticide called Merit, it is also a broad spectrum killer, and most fungicides have a 12 to 24 hour period before re entry to the area is safe. The Chem guys will never tell you that and THEY don't even protect their own bodies with respirators, because they are so bent on pushing their chemicals, they would rather jeopardize the help, than let YOU know that the chemicals are so dangerous that the applicator should be wearing a full face respirator!!!
Pets,Humans and BENEFICIAL INSECT AND fungi THAT COULD REALLY HELP TO PROTECT YOU!!!!!!!!!
It is a cheat and a well hidden racket of chemicals that will KILL your yard and all the Beneficial organisms in it!!!!!

Yes. Anything that can kill insects is toxic. Exposure to toxic chemicals over time is linked to cancer, endocrine disruption, and other problems.

Personally I'd find less toxic ways to get a healthier lawn. For example aerating doesn't hurt anything and it helps the lawn do well. Avoid compaction in general (dont drive on the lawn). Plant the kind of grass that's suitable for your area. Bluegrass is nice but it's not the right grass for every lawn. Do things to add organic matter and decrease runoff; this keeps the soil healthy.
