did you ever hear of a yard sale? you will be amazed at the results if you try to sell it in a yard sale and besides you get some extra money for beer

It would depend on what you are calling "junk". Some "junk" must be disposed of in a certain way. Most household junk can be taken to a landfill and tossed away there for free or just put out in your trash can and pick up by your local trash service.

Go online and join "Freecycle". I believe it is a national program. You can list your items in a "offer" and takers will contact you and pick them up. You can respond to ads if you see something you can use! It was created to keep items out of landfills and is a win-win for all parties involved.
You can also call up a local thrift store or look for yard sales in your area (or start one with some friends) If all else fails, then calling your sanitation department for a special pick-up would work. Good luck.

toss it on the curb...Ive never surprised at the old saying, one mans junk is another mans treasure...and for sure someone will pick it up
