That sounds like fun.
Well for the 60's you SHOULD wear your hair like a beehive, not as big but enough. Or you can do a small split in the middle and brush it behind your ears, and have some volume in the back. For an outfit you can wear a rectangular dress, like twiggy with cool patterns.
For the 70's, blow dry your hair upwards.like this:::http://www.designerhistory.com/historyofashion/images/70hair3.jpg and for an outfit definitly bell bottoms with big chunky heels. Or long flowy hippie dresses. with colorful headbands, and necklaces with the peace sign, and those circle sunglasses in bright colors.

A good idea might be to go with a theme, for example "British mod", "hippie chick", "disco queen".
Here are some good websites for more specific info: http://www.thewaywewore.net/
It's a clothing store specializing in clothing from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. You can browse the site, looking for ideas, and then go to your local thrift store, and piece something together.
Here's the link to a disco pantsuit: http://www11.inetba.com/thewaywewore/item35965.ctlg
You could wear your hair curly and piled high, with stacked heel boots, sparkly jewlery (rhinestones, etc).
And here's one to a cute minidress:

A cute pair of high heeled sandals, and a cute cap would tie this together, along with some "hippie" jewelry (peace symbols, hemp, long strands of beads or shells)
Here's a "mod" dress from the 60's:
http://www11.inetba.com/thewaywewore/item36056.ctlg
You could wear this one with a pair of knee high leather boots, leather gloves, and a cute cap.
Here's a hippie outfit: http://www11.inetba.com/thewaywewore/item36029.ctlg
You could combine this one with a pair of leather sandals, some hemp jewelry and wear your hair long and straight.
Hope this helps!
Edit: As far as seperate days, remember that the hippies were in the 60's,mod was 60's and 70's (mostly 60's) and the disco craze was in the 70's.
