Whilst watching the Olympics in 1966 I saw Bob Beamon jump an amazing 29 feet in the Long Jump. Other athletes were shell-shocked and could not believe it. At the time I remember thinking that he was never going to land. It was fantastic and I honestly thought it would never be beaten. Of course it was but not for nearly another forty years........... amazing feat ............
