Duncandes... you have a well thought out answer.

You and I are different as re the intrinsic trust in goverment.

I cannot have complete faith in a man. I do, however, have faith in what I think America should represent. When I begin to disagree with the direction my country is being led (my perception of the direction at least), I do feel compelled to act on it. I believe this to be part of the failsafe to prevent America from sliding down the wrong path. So this represents a part of my civic duty.

In short, I do not trust the motives of the team of men representing our current administration. Trust can be taken advantage of. It isn't pretty, and it's always deceitful.

Sorry for the extra up there.

Re the 950h/1second ratio for computers (to 'perfectly' represent reality)... We may never know the truth for sure.

Yes, more terrorists are being created, because none of the government or CIA responsible for the terrorism of 9/11 have yet been brought to justice, but they have alienated so many others who were previously peaceful, that more terrorism occurs.
One very significant point is the depleted uranium in Iraq.
The radiation from the DU shells is causing so much pain and anguish to Iraqis that many of them know they are doomed to die from the cancers thy have caught from the radiation.
So, in order to get rid of the pain, they don't mind killing themselves, and may as well take some of those whom they see responsible with them.
This is why there are so many suicide bombers - because so many people are affected by radiation from the DU weapons, including American soldiers.

For hundreds of years to come, the effects of the uranium will continue to wreak ... "American forces admit to using over 300 tons of DU weapons in 1991. ...

The answer is that we should trust the experts.
Purdue University, for example who provided the answer to the scientific question of the 'plane "like a river" hitting the pentagon, I quote: “The mesh of finite elements in the model require that millions of calculations be solved for every second of simulation. Creating only one-tenth of a second of simulation took about 95 hours of computation time on a supercomputer. Researchers originally used a bank of computers and also worked closely with Information Technology at Purdue (ItaP) to harness IBM supercomputers at Purdue and Indiana University"
Hopefully they have a political computer that will put us mere mortals to shame by saying much the same-don't try this at home, all those calculations will hurt your brain, the answer is "take the administrations word for it".

It caused more Middle Easteners to join the terrorists, that's how it helped the war on terror.

If bush would've captured or killed bin Laden who was SUPPOSEDLY THE ONE WHO CAUSED 9/11 instead of using it as an excuse to go into Iraq, we wouldn't have this problem...

Simple!

Iraq pre-War had few terrorists. Just a terrorist-like leader. Ok? Got me so far?

Now to make it support the war on terror we abolish their country's leader and government and remove all border controls that keep terrorists out. That allows lots and lots and lots of terrorists into the country. Then it's just a matter of killing a few day to day and you're fighting terrorism!! Who cares about our troops lives? Oh wait... I DO!
