Divide and conquer. There are quite a few who have been convinced that this country is broken down into two black and white categories, left and white, lib and con. I see these questions ALL day....libs blaming cons, cons blaming libs and both sides using strawman arguments to spread lies about the opposing side. And I am tired of it. Is there anyone else who agrees with me and who may have an idea how to get both sides to see that they are only hurting themselves?

Thanks Anthony, but your blame cons comment is exactly what I am talking about. Isn't the liberal stance to be tolerant? It's not the cons fault, it's the fault of a few very misguided greedy people with agendas that do not include our welfare. Not all con's like Bush and not all Libs hate him.

I agree.
I used to be far far left... thought that liberals were always right, conservatives were always wrong.
But truthfully it's not a matter of right or wrong but who agrees with your ideas more. I'm liberal because that's the label my beliefs give me. I don't believe in everything that every other liberal believes in. I'm not sure about abortion or immigration... that pulls me out a bit.
Frankly both sides are just greedy and immature. I can be too, I know that... I admit it. But it's just depressing when there are these people who talk like their side is ALWAYS right and that's just ridiculous. I hate closed-mindedness... It's so bad for us and our country!

I think the only way for that to happen is for people to start thinking for themselves. Both political parties are just that - political. No one sees both sides being wrong....
