personally i find it really buzzy and exciting...i love it..i feel my physical energy increase and it makes me feel really wild and happy...i dont know why though...

I think it depends on your view of our place in the world.
I love stormy weather because it puts us in our place, and shows us how insignificant we are. I also love the chaos and noise it creates. I agree with you. A good storm is wild and elemental. It makes me want to shout and scream with it.
i think those who are frightened are so precisely because it is something beyond their control.

I often wonder about that. My sister is terrified of bad weather, my entire family is really. I revel in it.
Somehow my energy just becomes so charged and my sense are higthened (sp?).
I've done some research on it, and the most meaningful explanation to me was that people who like it are simply more "connected" with earth. It's weird, yes, but usually people who don't like it lead somewhat less adventurous lives in that context. Not always, but mostly.

some people are scared of noisy things and flashy things
some people(like me) love to watch and hear stormy weather because it exhilarates them (and me)

i love it too!its my favorite thing in the world.its just one of those things,when i was a kid i was scared to death but somehow that fear turned into amusement.
