I had posted earlier that I had an a very nasty breakup about 8 months ago. She has since graduated but still lives in the area. I would like nothing more than to be totally emotionally rid of this person. I know that it happened 8 months ago. The problem is that she puts herself in situations that intervene in my life. She hangs out with some of my friends...has mocked the fact that I still have feelings for her. How do I deal with this? I feel constantly threatened b/c she is always lurking around and there was never any real closure. I hate the fact that it gets to me! How do I change that?

I recently read, from somewhere I can't remember, that time doesn't heal all wounds - only build scar tissue around them so that they don't hurt as much. I have the same problems with a lot of my exs, but I just stopped letting it bother me. The best way to get over her would probably be to try and be friends with her. She'll still be in your life, and there will be no more bad feelings.

Start dating someone, ANYone. Obviously, if she is mocking you and you need to prove her wrong to shut her up AND maybe she'll get the hint and stop intermingling in your life.

hypnotherapy perhaps.....um, tell your friends to choose, if they care more about being friends with her than you don't need them as friends anyway.
