you need to contact your bank and inquire direct, they are able to answer your question since they have the current publication of all currency of the world, which one do they accept and others who is unacceptable consider as ooc (out of circulation).

from what i remember, uk updated their currency to avoid those counterfeiters. the new bills have those silver lining inserted somewhere in the middle part and queen's face is bigger than the old one.(no pun intended).
