i have the adapter and it's plugged in now, but it's not showing up anywhere

hey! Win XP readily takes your mobile with miniSD card as a memory drive. and now get inside tht temprory memory drive ....its your memory card(not phone mem.) make modification as you wld liek to do wid tht.
even IF it doesnt workd then try cardreader(its inexpensive) and it would help to acess mem. of ur memory card!

In which device do you use the card? If you can connect the device to your PC, often a new drive (e.g. F:) appears and you can directly copy data there.
And most card readers have a slot for miniSD as well. This appears as a new drive (e.g. F:) always.
Some devices do not appear as a new drive, but you must install and use the software provided with the device.

You need a memory card adapter that plugs into your PC that you can plug the card into. Then it looks just like your harddrive and you can drag files to it.
