My now EX-friend helped end my relationship with a great guy.She then insulted, belittled, threatened me & has continued to do so a week later. Not only do I have to deal with an unbearable breakup but I have lost what I thought was a very good friend, while having to endure her insults and manipulations.
She works in the office of my employment & is very good friends with the owners(I'm mobile i.e. out of the office). She threatened my job so I had to bring it up to the boss. My boss tried to assure me that it hasn't been discussed around the office, but the ranting lunatic has told me otherwise, saying that "they all shake there heads" at me and think I am a sl*t.I am contemplating giving my notice even though I love my job. This was all brought about because this evil hag is a lesbian and can't seem to understand that I love men. It angered her so much to find that I was in a relationship with her nephew & not her.People say she is admittedly obsessed with me.I can't take anymore!!

I can't get back with my ex because he believes all the lies she has spread. I am so hurt by it all that words cannot even describe it. I haven't been given a chance to clear my name and disprove anything she has said. So all I can do is just cry. I can't sleep, can't eat, and am losing weight fast from the anxiety.

I tried ignoring her and it fired her up even more. Karma is a great thing and it WILL come around. But my job has been compromised and I have to be tactful and a step ahead with this loon. She is unbelievably vindictive in her jekyll and hyde ways. I don't know what to expect from this trash. She is coockoo in the caboodle!!

Start documenting *EVERYTHING*. What she says and/or does and when. Also, the date you brought this up to your boss, what you said, what he/she said, etc.
Let your boss know you really like the job and also let him know that your X-friend (now to be refered to as 'coworker') is behaving in a threatening and harrassing manner. Also let the owners know what's going on and that you'll keep them informed.
Let them know that you love your job and it's your goal to help the company as best you can. That this harassment isn't helping you *OR* the company.
Chances are that they'll tell your coworker to chill. Another possibility is that they'll try to get rid of you.
HOWEVER, if you have documentation (hope that your coworker does something in writing or on email that can be documented, forwarded or recorded) on all this crap she's putting you through, you have a dandy legal case. Lawyers love this kind of thing.
Don't tell your employers you're considering a legal case though.
Keep duplicates of every bit of evidence. Keep the originals in a file at home, the dup's at work, in case Crazy Girl trys to destroy anything. If she does, that's more evidence.
If people say she's admittedly obsessed with you, have them put this down in writing. If they won't, then document somewhere that in a conversation "Sally in accounting and Floyd in shipping said Crazy Girl mentioned on such and such a date that she's obsessed with you".
Finally in front of witnesses, in the most diplomatic and pleasant voice you can, ask Crazy Girl to stop the harassment. I she blinks her eyes like a deer in headlights, ONLY say, you know what tricks she's up to and turn away. Again, note the date and time you said this, then put the orginal in your home file and let your bosses know that you've asked Crazy Girl to stop and hope that'll be the end of all this. Note the time you told your bosses as well.
This puts them on notice that you've taken nice diplomatic action and if they don't do anything, they're legal toast.
Good luck!
