my bf is really insecure that he has been circumsised, he thinks that it is so shameful and gets upset anytime any one mentions about it (even though he hasnt told them) he thinks that people would be funny about it to him if they knew ,i think he is being shallow and silly ,is he right?????

if he grew up anywhere other than n/america or the middle east,he was probably in the minority.I felt the same way growing up in the uk.My age group 1 in 13 were(unlucky for some) now about 1 in20 .I felt mutilated and incomplete i spent 14 years feeling like this till i got mine reversed.He's not the only one feeling this way ,i found a help group set up called NORM-UK of great help with support and advice.

It's sad that his parents didn't know any better than to do this to him, but it's not his fault, and there is no way to put the foreskin back, so he needs to get on with his life and stop letting this get in the way. Maybe he needs to talk to a counselor. A lot of men are in the same situation, so he's by no means alone.

He was probably teased about it because most men that I know don't make a big deal about their circumcised or non-circumcised penis. It's not something that one just decides to be sensitive about. The only guy that I know who is sensitive about his uncircumcised penis was teased about it very often by boys who saw it in the showers at school and football. You need to help him work with his confidence when it come to his penis because as you probably know, a man's penis can often mean EVERYTHING to him.

-Almost all men are circumsized. Tell him there is nothing to be embarressed about. It actually adds to the sensitivity of the area, making sex more pleasurable.

why should he be insecure? a circumcized penis is nothing to be ashamed of. he's just being silly. sometimes i wish my boyfriend was circumcized...
