6x+4(3x-2)= 6x+2
6x+12x-8=6x+2
18x-8=6x+2
12x=10
x= 10/12 = 5/6

x= 5/6

remove () 6x+12x-8=6x+2

cancel 6x both sides 12x-8=2
move -8 to other side as +8
so 12x=2+8 = 10
x=10/12=5/6
