It can begin at any time after conception, though it usually starts around the 4 - 6 week mark--don't worry about it too much though, it usually goes away after a month or so, though of course each pregnancy is different and some are very hard. The best way to keep it to a minimum is keep saltine crackers with you at all times--whenever you feel any nausea coming on, eat some crackers--and if you do not have any--just eat something, anything--it will help.
What I really want to tell you though, is it seems a great many women like to thoughtlessly inform a pregnant woman about their difficult and painful delivery, how many hours they were in labor, et cet. Please just blow these ah's off, it is rude and mostly untrue, they are exagerating for the sake of trying to be interesting. You could have a delivery as smooth and easy and as super fast as I did...whatever pain I felt, and trust me, I am quite the wimp when it comes to pain, is NOTHING in comparison to the excitement, the thrill.
Please, don't let these idiots scare you. I could have a baby everyday, (pain-wise), it is just soooo exceptionally overwhelmingly thrilling...so just focus on the joy, okay?

I started feeling slightly queasy and sensitive to certain smells before my missed period. My morning sickness got really bad during the second month and had to be hooked up to an IV for dehydration. That didn't go away until maybe the middle of the fourth month and I am still sensitive to smells that are too "chemical."

With my first pregnancy, it started at 6 weeks. With my second, I started feeling nauseous before I took the pregnancy test!

I started feeling sick about a week after I found out I was pregnant, so that would have been around week 5 I think.

you don't get morning sickness with every pregnancy, but if you do, usually it starts in the second or third month.
