I have seen a high school basketball uniform in a shadow box frame hung in a stair well. Not sure of the correct term for the location, but as you descent the stairs from the second floor - directly across the top of the stairs was a wall section extending down from the ceiling which you passed under. Very clever placement, I thought.
IMHO anything of value today, will be worth much more later. I expect you grandchildren would reap the full benefits with an interest a bank cannot match.

I agree raffle it for a good cause - you might raise more money if you contact Aston Villa Fan Club and ask them if they would like to raffle it as that way it would reach the fans and raise more money for the charity concerned.

There are specialist shops that you can take them to that will buy therm off of you, or you could them them to an auction. Don't put them in a general sale, try one with a special sports section.
You could of course e-bay them.
They will only go up in value, so if you have children think of giving them to them. If this is the case, they need to be stored in a way so that they don't degrade.

Personally i would auction it for my favourite charity and raise some well needed funds ,someone who is a aston villa fanatic will pay for the privilege of owning this piece of history
