The following NEEDED inventions are on my list. I know how they should work, but don't see any reason to explain them here.

1. A glass bottle recycler for bars. Saw one once. It never went into production. Still need it.

2. A compact plastic shredder that small towns can afford.

3. A solar furnace for melting plastic for recasting. A guy in Montana developed one.

4. A true ebook reader like the Rocket that can be successfully marketed for the school market. The Rocket got sabotaged when Gemstar bought the parent company.

5. Plant towers for city dwellers. A garden in two square foot of floor space. With the attendant grow lights and the implanted watering system, a plant tower would provide fresh herbs and salad greens and oxygen for an entire apartment. The same technology will also be needed in space.

Those are the top things I'd like to see hit the market. See what you can do.

What? A perpetual motion machine. Why? just for the fame. How? I would put a 18 ft in dia pipe out on the earth east to west for 24 miles and expect a 500 mph wind to start blowing in the pipe to the west because of the rotation of the earth.
