My Grandmother told me that when one ear itches someone is talking good about you and the other ear means someone is talking bad about you and I can not remember which ear that itched and what it meant and she has since passed so I cannot ask her.

Right means being badmouthed. Left means a good report, so they say.
But I'd say something bit the ear or has failed to scrub it while taking a bath (he-he).
