We go to their movies and buy the products that pay for the TV shows they are on. The answer is: because they are entertainers and we are willing to pay a lot of money for entertainment, just like sports players get paid millions of dollars per contract.

It's not like any other President has done anything about it. There are a lot of white professional athletes and actors who make a lot of money, so to say he is ignoring it because the athletes are black is just ignorant. I'll bet they can run, jump and hit a little ball much better than you can.

It is a matter of economics. Very few people can actually do what they do (despite common misconceptions) and that is in demand. They are paid what they are paid because that is what they are worth in the world of supply and demand.

Because we are ridiculous enough to pay top dollars at the movies, all watch tv and buy what we see advertised, and wear their t-shirts
