well my fam is switching in december during christmas time from cingular to verizon and i need to know which phone to get..and not an expensive one since my parents dont buy ones thatr are over 100

Get an LG phone. They are the best, work for longer periods of time and the batteries don't die as quickly.

Whatever it is, just avoid getting the clam type as these types of phones don't last. Second, choose phones with good battery life and longer talk time.
You don't need a fancy phone unit only to be used as mp3 player or like an iPod for viewing stuff. Because if that's the case, then better buy iPod instead.
Best brands - Nokia, and Sony-Ericsson.
Cellphones should be for commnications only and not for entertainment.

yes because they are different services but only if u want to switch from cingular to verizon
