Good question.
If I was given one wish before a death sentence... I'd wish for just one chance to thank and see my Hero again.
It would probably be different if it wasn't my death sentence and I don't see myself anywhere there in my future - considering I respect Law Enforcement.
To make you understand why that is my wish (doesn't seem like the best one, I know).... let me tell you: For once in my life a father-like figure held me in his hands and kept me safe from further harm. Gave me courage and comfort when I needed it. Sure, he is a stranger and a Paramedic. I know deep down that he was only doing his job but at the same time gave me much more than he will ever know. I have no right to search for him... whereas I'm just wishing truly.
Like someone taught me: 'Sometimes it takes a total stranger to make you feel alive.' And I wish I can meet that stranger one more time and thank him for his kindness. My Hero.

If I were given a death sentence my last wish would be to be surrounded by my family and dearest loved ones, so I could spend my last minutes with them.
