According to historical attendance patterns for the theme parks, Disney is not crowded then because you will be between Thanksgiving break and the start of Christmas break.
If you stay much longer than the 13th, though, you will start seeing Christmas crowds.

Disney is usually very crowded around the holidays. However, the week that you are referring to will be much less crowded than the week of Christmas. So that is actually your best bet. You will get the benefits of seeing the holiday decorations with less of a crowd.
(I am going Dec 2nd -9th!)

No, that's a great time to go.It's considered "Value Season" meaning slower. The very best time to go is Jan 10-Feb 5, but early December is great as well. The crowds do some in sporadically for the "Very Merry Christmas Party", but not as many as you'd think! Hope that helps!

It shouldn't bee too bad. It may start to pick up, crowd wise, around the 13th, so I recommend going to the parks toward the beginning of the vacation and going elsewhere... like the beach or Kennedy Space Center toward the end of your trip.

Yes. That time of the year is considered season in Florida and is full of tourist traffic as well as the Very Merry X-Mas festivities in which after 6pm all visitors that do not have tickets for the specail event are asked to leave. Consult the website to check actual dates and times to prevent heartache from broken plans.

It's busy but not like it is during the summer. The week of Christmas and the week of New Years are very crowded, but in between thanksgiving and christmas not so much.

Actually that is a wonderful time to travel not only to FLA but also to Disney. Of course there will be people, but the weather will be great and the crowds will be diminished. Lucky you!!

It is not bad. There is very little wait for most of the attractions. I believe our longest wait was only 20 minutes. But, the annual Mousefest will be there from December 9 through 11. Check their schedule to see where they plan to be.

I agree with James. If you go during that time period, you will see less crowds. If you go beyond the 13th, you will see the crowds pick up.
