Quit Drinking! Barring that (snicker) lots of water the night before, B complex vitamins and C vitamins. The B vitamins should be heavy on thiamine because the liver uses that in processing booze and strips it out of the body if it needs it. Your hang over is mostly from your body being dehydrated and your brain is actually shrunken and shriveled. aspirin helps the pain but lots of water makes the cure. Juices are a good thing as well as water, grapefruit juice has helped me many times.

A glass of milk before you go out, a few glasses of water when you come home and something to eat next morning with more water to drink, dehydration is the worst thing for giving you a headache and that's what booze does to your system.

The very best cure, obviously is not to over-pollute your system, but since you may still choose to do so, try iterspersing your alcohol intake with soda or a gatorade type drink to replenish electrolytes & fluids.
