Sure, there are more liberals "IN" college. That is because they are led by their liberal teachers. But when they leave, and work in the real world, most (as I) become more conservative.
Also, How can liberals claim, on the other hand, that Republicans only care about big business?
Are we to think that the people running the big business' are less educated? Or is it because most hollywood actors are liberals, and we all know how smart they are because they pretend to be doctors?
When will the hypocracy end?

Conservative Democrats and liberals are not necessarily better educated and I've never heard them say that. However, they are more compassionate and perceptive of the activities in Washington and can see the hypocrisy there. Republicans do care about big business and pretend to care about even small businesses (the small businesses don't realize they aren't helping them at all). Republicans and Democrats approved NAFTA which took jobs out of our country. At the working man's expense, they are making laws to accomodate these big businesses every day. There are more big corporations shutting down every day. They're selling our personal information and home loans overseas because the workers work cheap there. I don't want my SS# floating all over the world, do you.? Too late, though, because we have lost our freedom there and in many other ways. You people need to be more patriotic and try to learn as much as you can about what is going on now or you're going to wake up with a shock one of these days. Study your history too. As far as liberals becoming conservative after they leave college, that doesn't mean they turn Republican. Liberals have morals and conservative beliefs too. Republicans in DC say they are conservative--well, they certainly are not conservative in spending are they? Don't blame it on give away programs either as I happen know many of those programs have been cut. I've heard soldiers who've come back from Iraq wounded and cannot work and they do nothing for them. Is that right? A country like ours have children going around hungry, no clothes, no shelter and are being abused because they are poor. What a shame, such a wonderful country like ours and no child left behind---RIGHT. We are better than that.

I don't remember ALL Democrats on here stating they are better educated then Republicans, so limit your question to the one who said it.
Now, Republicans only care about big business? It's true. They care about the wealthy, so it goes hand-in-hand with CEO's, CFO's, and other leaders of their business. What has bush done about fixing public schools? Nothing. What about the "No Child Left Behind" deal? Nothing. However, he can take a surplus and turn it into a deficit over a war that doesn't mean anything but killing our Valued Soldiers and getting oil.
That is called hypocrisy...

I didn't know anyone ever made that claim. Perhaps people are beginning to confuse liberal education with liberal political alignment. The liberally educated however usually have the skill & insight to understand the complex issues of most human interactions. They know that simple solutions (i.e. it's this OR it's that) cannot solve all problems.

I know for a fact I've never said I'm better educated than conservatives... Sure, more than Bush, but unless you are admitting that you all concieve him as representing the whole party, then that doesn't mean all repugs.

Oh we say we are better educated, because we dont believe the Presidents lies.
