I come across very beautiful women, nice shapes, sweet, friendly, you name it but then turn to go the other way. I know everybody has the right to decide his or her own life, but as a well functioning male I just do not understand. Dont these guys want to get loving partners, husbands or wives, give birth to their own kids? Once agian I'm not opposing, I just want to know what takes people to that. If that's what our parents were doing none of would have been born. And do not believe buying kids either. It is understandable when you first try to get your own child but cant becouse of one reason or another then go adopting. But when you are capable of making one and decide not to,doesn't go into my head. Sorry if I hurt some one.

It isn't a choice, do you honestly beleive that people would CHOOSE that lifestyle. That they would choose to be ridiculed, choose to have their marraige rights taken away, choose to have people question them??? It isn't about choice, it is about what they feel in their heart!
There were people in your parents generation that were gay as well!!! It is not like everyone is going to become gay all of a sudden and stop populating the earth. It isn't contagious, and people don't just choose to be that way.

I really don't know what makes a gay or lesbian. I can only tell you how I perceive this. I believe that the pressures of society and the values of the person involved in this situation and the mental statis of the individual may have a lot to do with the final decision of what way to go.The way you were brought up as a child. The way your mother or father treated you. Loving or abusive circumstances. Emotional play.
Influence of real good friends to change you over can also be at hand.
What's right and wrong in religion? What is meant to be is that a man and a women are meant for each other. It's alright to have real good friends but, know your values and don't cross the line. We have eduacated intelligience. But putting this in a medical view point as far as genes go, we still have more intelligence. It is therefore necessary that if the genes take control, then the same rules apply. Their are mascaline women and gay men (girless qualities). These type of sex partners should get together. This I think would be solution to the dominate sex genes in particular sex and a acceptable relationship into marriage. Men don't need to marry men or visa-versa. The world should get better educated in religion. Start up a membership group so that these sex groups can get together and work out there problems on self identity.(sexual) and find the right marriage mate to bring up a family.
To get somewhere on the co-operate latter lets say: (to get that high scale paying job) Their are those that have to submit to that kind of life for the rewards that they may reap in doing so. This is a personal choice and it is a money driven choice.
If the sexes are pushes together (males/males) (females/females) I believe that those who do not want to choose this kind of life, are in a sence forced into it beyond their control. For people who do not want this kind of life, have to be real strong willed , to over come, because their are those out their that try to get you to turn to your own sex. Example:The way a guy attracts a women compared to a guy attracting a guy or visa versa. Gays and lesbians go after striaght guys and girls and try to change them over if really attracted to them. Friends are one thing and you can only be the judge of your friends and other relationships. I hope this gives some insight, But what I really think of the gays and lesbians and that this is a world wide epidemic of mental illness and that these people are running away from themself and do not want to face reality.
Another solution to the gay and lesbian problem is that if men and women respected each other better, treated and did not use each other to leave broken hearts behind, then they would not want to go to their own sex to escape the mistreated wife or husband routine.
THE REAL SOLUTION IS UP FOR GRABS . I HOPE THE WORLD STRIGHTENS OUT SOME DAY.

They are attracted to people of the same sex. Think of it this way, is there anything in this world that could make you want to have sex with another man regularly? What if that was the only way to have children? What if that was most acceptable in society? What if he was a really good-looking guy with a great attitude? Can't do it right? Because you're not gay, because the thought of having sex with another guy makes you ill. Well the lesbian feels that way too and the gay man feels that way toward women. I know they don't choose it because I know nothing could ever make me choose to be with another women. I have heard some people are bi or just a little gay and I guess they can choose but if you are strictly one way or the other it isn't your choice. Its just a matter of what attracts you.

Hey... i have a lesbian couple for my best friends and they are amazing, i love them to bits, im straight, and they respect that.
I personally dont think it's genetic to turn gay, every lesbian or gay guy i have met is because of previous relationships gone bad, the guy either raped them, beat them or abused them emotionally, sometimes even there father's would invade there body's privacy, then they turn gay, because they feel safer and more loved with other woman, both my lesbian friends were raped and the one was beaten by her ex.
From the guy side i dont know much, i had one guy gay friend and the reason he became gay is the lack of a father, he was always refined and very nice, but i personally think that it wasn't just because he didn't have a dad, his mom also had alot to do with it...
Anyway i love my lesbian friends, and my gay friends, they are indeed unique.
Hope i could have shared a little light on the fact...

What makes a person be attracted to the opposite sex, is the same thing makes a person attracted to the same sex. We are who we are. No one wakes up one morning and decides I am gay. If people in this country would lighten up and chill out, more people could open and be happy, and not have to hide in the closet.and people that the america is a free country, but yet a person is not allowed to live their life and be happy without being shunned from others or not allowed to be married. It does not matter if I am gay or straight. I am a human being, and because of sexual preference, should not be an issue. I should not have to list my sexual prefference, but in todays world you have to . Most of you are now thinking oh she is gay...... Well I am not gay, and even if I was. I would not feel the need to explain my sexual prefernce. This is america, so live your life freely..... and if your gay your gay, if your straight your straight. do not hide from those feelings , be happy/

Not sure how that works. I always assumed that it was something that happened to them when they were kids. All the gay men I knew were raped by their male cousins or stepfathers. And the women I think are just curious. I can't see it as a natural thing that they'd want to live their entire life doing. But I'm not in their shoes so I really don't know. It's a good question.

Its when people lose there concience. Honesltly. Because what they think is, "well why not become gay?" so they just slowly put in there mind that it is the right thing to do. or then girls think, "well she is very pretty...i wonder if im a les." BUT THE FACT is that there alot of BEAUTIFUL women and there are alot of BEAUTIFUL men. When people start falling for there own sex, its because they just keep thinking, "well why not? i like them. alot of people like to do it." then they go to the other side. And that is what my gay friend tells me until he turned straight again. I believe it as well, and totally belive its true.

It depends on the individual, but it all boils down to who you are attracted to. If you find yourself attracted to someone of the same sex, why not act on it? There is nothing wrong with that. I think that women have it easier in that realm as they are made to be attractive overall, as men are more utilitarian. As for kids, that is also personal preference. I am married and have been with my wife for a long time. We do not have children, nor do we want to have children. Frankly, neither one of us can stand them for more than 30 seconds.

I was born gay and had feeling since I was very young. I have always been jealous of straight people's stability and children and the whole family unit. But as humans we are all dealt a hand in life and we have to play it to the best of our ability and make ourselves happy.

people don't become gays their born gay, most just don't realize until they hit a certain age. don't get this confused with a gay faze which most people become aware of in high school, its just bi-curiosity and its completely natural and like all fazes it ends eventually.
