i am a 20 year guy who hates shaving. will a electric razor help reduce pain while shaving?

i dont care if it does not gives a close shave. i always have small cuts while shaving( shaving my face not legs, arms, chest etc). ONLY GUYS WHO HAVE USED ELECTRIC RAZOR ANSWER PLS....THANX

an electric razor is fine.
you'll need to get a good one though.
don't get a cheap one.
at first, it may take awhile to get use to the electric razor.
it sounds like you have a sensitive face like i do.
you'll build up a tolerance to the razor after awhile.

I find using an electric way more painful than a good wet shave. I have a Phillips electric shaver, and it feels like its pulling the whiskers out by the roots - I use it only in emergencies - like in the car before a meeting and I was out on the piss the night before.

I suggest sticking with a good wet razor, and try different shaving creams. If you are using a cartridge razor, change the blades frequently - a sharp blade is WAY more comfortable than a used/dull one. Make sure your beard is wet and use hot water to open up the pores.

Different skin, different razor. Go to a good razor store, get advice from them (there is always a "tryout" period anyway and you can return the razor if you are not satisfied). A good razor will cost you about 100$, maybe a bit more, but it is worth it.

I'm 66 used norelco from the days they first came out. Grew my full beard at 40 I still use a beard and mustache trimmer today.

My husband says an electric one helped him at that age. They get a little pricey, but his was worth it as he has a heavy beard.
