There is a brand of laptop/notebook computer called I-Qon for sale at my local Tesco/Evil Empire for £450, seem to have everything I'd need microsoft works 8.5, a printer, widescreen monitor etc. And I assume all laptops come with the ability to have broadband, wireless or otherwise. The price is quite appealing but just wondering if anyone knows anything about the I-Qon brand or have an I-Qon or other cheaper brand of laptop themselves? My current PC has been on the blink for months and I refuse to pay for it's repair for the 10th time, I'm desperate to replace it with a more compact and transportable laptop but is this one too good to be true? Is expensive necessarily better?

i would say to wait and invest in a better model. check local circulars and wait for an electronic's store to offer rebates or good sales.
