My mother has green eyes and my dad brown. I have blue eyes and my siblings have green. I inherited my eyes from my grandad but scientifically it shouldn't have happened. The eye colour can be inherited from generations ago like all genes. Don't worry, instead enjoy you baby.

No, you can still carry a blue eye gene, it is recessive, but with the right combination, the baby can still have blue eyes. If you are wondering about the paternity, have a blood test done on both the baby and this blue-eyed man. You probably already know your husbands blood type. With this go to the doctor and have that looked at....as a first test for paternity. If this does not prove either way, have a DNA/paternity test done.

oops for you!! Yeah brown eyes are dominant and all the facts you gave above HIGHLY suggests that this may be that other guys baby. I would definatly get the baby tested. Does your hubby have any idea??

Are you people kidding me??? Yes the baby might be your husbands but does that really matter??? What happens later on when god forbid if something happens to your child you need to know who his father is for medical reasons. Not to mention the child and the possible other father deserver the oppurtunity to know eachother!

Does anyone (grandparents, siblings, etc...) have blue eyes? Blue eyes is mostly a recessive trait so there is possibility that that trait has been dormant for a while in both sides.
