I have an actual scarf thrown into a crowd by Elvis Presley. How much is this scarf worth? Or, what resources do I need to tap into to tell me how much it's worth?

Your biggest problem here is absolute proof. You knew he threw it but does the buyer know that? I use to be in the antiquing business and things like your scarf had a hard time fetching top dollar because the seller had only their word. I am not calling you a lire I am just telling you the way the business is. For top dollar proof is paramount. If you have a photo of him with you or who ever with the scarf on, or the scarf is in his or your hands that would help a lot but even something like that is not a signature of authenticity. I am not trying to be a downer just trying to prepare you for a bunch of questions you will be getting on eBay if you sell it there.

It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.
