when i received E-mail in Thai alphabets, they are not the Thai alphabets, but other alphabets that i can't understand. But the file attached I can read by office programm. What should I do.

I assume you are seeing strange characters in no particular language.
Sometimes, a different browser may allow you to read Thai.
You can also tell your friend to write in WORD and attach it as an attachment with the email.
You can also ask them to use Thai virtual keyboard to write the message. See reference below.

Check with senior citizen groups/day care/ other senior programs - including local meals on wheels - know of an older person who reads Thai. They are generally interested in helping others and can read the letter into a tape for you, translate it in writing, or read it in your presence. Many seniors love to be of service to younger people.
