I know this question may not be in the right category but...?

How did I get a southern accent? I mean I lived in PA for almost 4 years already and my family who is from new york said my accent changed to southernish? How did this happen? It sounds normal ot me..

This can happen. My grandson did the same thing. He lives in NorFolk V.A. He got over it in a few years. How? who knows but it will change.
