I can only speak for myself. I am much more vulgar, (where allowed) witty and outgoing online. I am also a bit of a grammar Nazi, not to the extent that I will mock someone openly, but I do not appreciate the shorthand and lack of capitalization.

I believe it really depends on the person.
We are all different, as in a public area. We have one personality, in a private another. . . yet while we are communicating on line if we are sincere in a response that will show as will show if we are not.
Don't you think so?

it is more difficult to interpret the meaning of what someone is saying. Things need to be explained much more thoruoughly in order for them to be understood completely.
