Alaska: The ______________ tribe. (there are many)

Australia: Aborigines or Koori

New Zealand. The Maoris are the indiginous people; they are not aboriginal since they are Polynesian and arrived 1000+ years ago and killed off the aboriginals of New Zealand, but I forgot their name, sorry.

In virtually every language native peoples have called themselves simply "the people." This, coming from my college anthropology classes, is my best guess. Studies of many many indigenous languages, including those of the groups you mention, showed "the people" is the common term for talking about themselves. It's much like "We the People." What do you need the information for?
