I'd have to say Sakura even though I can't see the show without someone like her. It's just that, everyone seems so far ahead of her.
She's on a team like everyone else and is supposed to do her part. I clearly see the girl does. But to me, she's one of those typical Shounen girls who just stands in the background and gets into trouble. Sure, she gives out helpful hints, answers questions the audience has been wondering about or already knew to begin with, and maybe she sometimes even does something useful like attack (referring to the Chuunin Exam Arc.)
Sakura has her moments where she does a lot, but she doesn't really have any speacial traits. And sometimes she annoys me when she's just sitting there watching Naruto and Sasuke and just screaming at them when they get hit or something.
Besides that, I think all the other ninja are a bit ahead of her. Plus, she's more fit to be a medical ninja anyway.

I'm sure atleast a few fangirls will tear me to shreds for what I have to say, the worse ninja in Naruto has to be Sasuke. I'll explain to you why I think this way, although he may not be the worse Ninja, sasuke is the most "over-hyped" ninja there is. You're probably thinking ((no way is sasuke the worse ninja, he has the sharingan and a cursed seal)). It's true that sasuke possess the sharingan((probably the most cheap plot device I've ever seen)). All sasuke has to do is just copy whatever opponents move there is, god forbid Sasuke Uchiha actually learns jutsu through talent or hard work, no he has that eye. To make things worse he has the equavalent to naruto's kyubi, the cursed seal, so he has a god-like amount of chakra to draw from, his overcompensation is further exagerated by the fact that unlike Neji or Itachi(both who are actual true geniuses) sasuke is mouth feed by none other...Kakashi, a sharingan user. Face it, we all know he went all Sith after Naruto started surpassing him, if you don't believe me,who beats Gaara?

I think Naruto's the worst ninja. Seriously, without the Ninetails he'd be nothing.
Naruto shouldn't even be a ninja, 'cos the only thing that keeps him going is someone else's power. It doesn't matter how much determination he has.

i think the worst ninja is sakura
in the time skip ya she got better but at the begining she sucks.
and to answer gracie's Q he has wiskers cuz of the 9tailed fox inside him. its the wiskers of the 9 tailed fox. like Garra has dark black rings around his eyes it's from the tailed demon inside of him.
